The forging process is probably the oldest method to work metals. In the Bible, in Egyptian inscriptions and other historical documents, it appears the blacksmith forging, as the method used to manufacture weapons, jewels, coins and other implements of daily use. Greeks, Romans and others included Gods of the forge within their religion.

For centuries, the forging process has been used to assure a good quality. Forge produces a continuous flow of the grain of the material obtaining the maximum resistance, as it is oriented to follow the shape of the part. Virtually, all metals, from aluminum to the zirconium can be forged.
